My name is Jamie, and I am a certified NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Brain trainer. My introduction to Neurofeedback was shortly after my son was diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). I was looking for a way to help ease his anxieties, help him focus, and help him sleep. I soon found out that many more benefits would come from our Neurofeedback sessions, so much so that I felt I needed to be a part of this. I needed to help others. This is my passion! I bought my first professional system a few years later, and I am now very excited to join the team here at Dimension Health & Wellness. I have provided over 3500 sessions to clients who report benefits from Neurofeedback such as better focus, increased resiliency, increased quality of sleep, relief of migraines, less anxiety, a decrease in neurological tics and stimming, a decrease in medications needed, and an overall better state of mental health.
I was born and raised in Saskatchewan and moved to BC approximately 22 years ago. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my dogs. We like to spend our time in the outdoors. Living in beautiful British Columbia lets us partake in our favourite activity, kayaking, all year round! For more information about Neurofeedback, visit Jamie's website at chilliwacknfb.com.
Harley [she/her] is a Registered Dietitian whose passion areas include chronic disease management and intuitive eating. She aligns her practice with the Health at Every Size (HAES) paradigm, taking pride in her ability to offer a compassionate and inclusive space for her patients to be heard. Harley believes that we are more likely to engage in health-promoting self care practices, such as healthy eating and joyful movement, if we learn to inhabit our bodies in an accepting and appreciative way. Though making healthy choices to reach blood sugar and cholesterol targets is important for good health, so is healing disordered relationships to our bodies and foods. It would be Harley’s pleasure to support you in optimizing your nutrition by making choices that are nourishing, sustainable, within reach, and sensitive to your truest needs!
